DeltAgent
Drafts month-end variance commentary. It reads budget vs actual, then looks in Slack, Gmail, Calendar and CRM for the reason behind each variance.
Finance controllers spend 2 to 4 hours a month writing this commentary. The numbers are in a spreadsheet. The reasons are spread across chat, email, calendars and the CRM.
DeltAgent takes a CSV or Excel export, finds the significant variances, searches for the reason behind each one and drafts a line. You go through the lines one by one: accept, edit or flag. Then export to Markdown or Word. It runs in the terminal.
Evals
10 made-up companies, each with fake chat and email context and an answer key. After each round I fixed the worst problem and ran it again.
| round | before fixes | after fixes |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | 49.32 | – |
| 2 | 54.79 | 60.92 |
| 3 | 74.29 | 75.21 |
| 4 | 89.83 | 92.50 |
The biggest problem was the agent making up reasons when it had no evidence. More in this note.
All of this is synthetic data. It has not been run on a real finance team’s books.
